Luxury mattress producer looks to Texas for its 3rd factory

E.S. Kluft & Co. plans to open a new factory in the Dallas-Fort Worth area later this year.

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. – Luxury bedding manufacturer E.S. Kluft & Co., will open a new 100,000-square-foot factory in the Dallas-Fort Worth area later this year.

The new factory will give the company manufacturing capacity planted between its two existing facilities located here in California and in Hazelton, Pa. Company officials said increased business and a strong first quarter warrant the need for the additional space.

Founded in California in 2004, the company opened its current Pennsylvania factory in 2012.

“Due to our exceptional growth since 2019 and strategic account alliances with Top 100 retailers, the third plant will allow us to increase our overall capacity and will be strategically located in relationship to our East Coast and West Coast factories,” said Jon Stowe, managing director of E.S. Kluft & Co. “The addition of the Dallas-Fort Worth location will help us reduce lead times and increase service and delivery to our retail partners as the luxury category continues to grow.”

At full capacity, the company will hire more than 80 people for the new facility.

The new factory will manufacture the company’s three brands – Kluft, Aireloom and Marshall Mattress.
